Fear Free Operations
Fear Free is about actively preventing fear, anxiety, and stress. When dogs feel safe and understood, they're able to engage, learn, and socialize in a healthy way. At Bark House, our operations are designed to reduce pressure, respect each dog's comfort level, and create an environment where confidence can grow naturally. Dogs leave here feeling safe, confident, and comfortable.
How it Works
We respect your dogs feelings and emotions.
We are considerate of our actions.
We discourage and refrain from using any training tools that inflict discomfort, fear, or harm such as prong collars, choke chains, and shock collars.
We refrain from using strong scents that cause stress.
We provide mood lighting and soft music during down time.
Dogs are actively supervised for subtle signs of fear, anxiety, and stress and separated as necessary.
Introductions to other dogs are performed slowly or at the dogs preferred pace.
